Building with agents? Your Disks are API- and MCP-readable →

A course built around your source

Each Disk combines a clear explanation with source context, recall practice, concept maps, and interactive guidance. The original source stays attached, so you can keep checking what the material actually says.

The same source, ready for your AI

Your agent can use the structured Disk through retrieval, REST API, MCP, or Skill export. It works from the source you chose instead of scattered prompt fragments.

From source to useful knowledge

  1. 1. Add a source
Upload a PDF, paste a link, add a video, write notes, or connect a repository.
  2. 2. Build a Disk
SkillDiscs organizes the material into a guided learning flow at your level.
  3. 3. Learn and use it
Learn with explanations and recall, then let your AI retrieve the same curated knowledge.

What you can turn into a Disk

Documents

PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, and EPUBs. Structure survives the import: headings, tables, figures and equations are read as what they are, not flattened into a wall of text.

Video and audio

Any YouTube video. Captions are used when they exist and the audio is transcribed when they do not, so a talk with no subtitles is still usable.

Web pages

Paste a URL and the article is fetched and cleaned — navigation, cookie banners and related-post rails stripped before anything is generated.

Code repositories

Connect a GitHub repository and get its structure, architecture and a generated wiki alongside the source itself.

Your own notes

Paste raw text. No formatting required.

What is inside a Disk

A summary and a levelled explanation

The short version first, then the material rewritten for beginner, intermediate or advanced. The beginner level assumes no prior knowledge and defines terms as it goes, so an unfamiliar field does not stop you on the first paragraph.

A concept map

The ideas in the source and how they connect, so the shape of a topic is visible before reading it end to end.

Recall questions

Questions per section, including free-text answers that are read and responded to rather than only scored. What did not stick stays visible.

A chat grounded in that source

Ask questions and the answer comes from the material you added, pointing at the passage it used so you can check it against the original.

An API, MCP endpoint and Skill export

The same structured Disk your agent can retrieve from, so you and your AI work from one source instead of two.

Questions about SkillDiscs

What is SkillDiscs?

SkillDiscs turns a source you choose — a document, a video, a web page, a repository — into a Disk: a structured version of that source with a summary, a concept map, recall questions and a chat grounded in the text. The same Disk is also readable by AI agents over an API, so what you learn from and what your agent answers from are the same material.

What can I turn into a Disk?

Web pages, PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, EPUBs, YouTube videos, GitHub repositories and pasted text. The source stays attached to the Disk, so you can always go back to the original.

What do I get from a Disk?

A summary, an explanation written for your current level, a concept map of how the ideas connect, recall questions per section, and a chat that answers from that source. Answers point back at the passage they came from, so you can check them against the original.

Is SkillDiscs free?

There is a free tier and it needs no credit card. Creating Disks and generating explanations, quizzes and images consumes credits; the free tier includes a monthly allowance and paid plans raise it. Reading Disks you have already created does not cost credits.

Which languages does SkillDiscs support?

The interface and all AI-generated content are available in English, German, French and Spanish. Original sources are never translated — a transcript or document stays in the language it was written in, and only the generated explanations follow your language setting.

Make your next source useful to both you and your AI.
